McDonalds' Ball Pit Found to be Origin of COVID-19

In light of a recent scientific discovery, the CDC issued a press release detailing COVID-19 likely originated from a McDonald’s ball pit. Long criticized for being unsanitary, it seems as though the ball pit’s notorious history has finally caught up with the billion-dollar corporation.

Researchers suspect the virus came as a result of the buildup of years of contaminants, mixed with chemical- and pesticide-laced food, which eventually mutated into COVID-19. A McDonalds representative addressed concerns during a press conference stating, “[We] will begin spraying powerful disinfectants, guaranteed to kill all organisms on contact, into all McDonalds' ball pits. The safety of our patrons is our top priority, and we believe this decision will further protect the health of everyone.“

Many have raised concerns over the possible negative health effects associated with such disinfectants, but McDonalds has yet to respond to their complaints.
